Don't give it back to me!
Whit was up all night with Owen who has a stomach bug. He's been
camped in front of the TV all day and she told him that she needed to
go lay down for a while.

Oh Mummy, I'm feeling better so you must have my bug now. Don't give
it back to me!

Visit with Uncle Jeff
Whit and I went out for dinner on Thursday and Uncle Jeff kindly agreed to babysit. Owen and Nathaniel had a great (crazy) time together and it was late by the time we picked him up. Owen was delirious, saying he wasn't tired and that he wanted to stay overnight (for the breakfast, no doubt). We dragged him home and he slept until 8am the next morning!

Visit to MIT today
We had breakfast with our friends Tom and Rebecca this morning, then
walked through the Frank Gehry designed Stata Center. It is a very
cool building, full of art and wide open creative spaces. Owen
especially enjoyed the police car from the famous Great Dome Hack.

1/2 Day Today
It hasn't even started snowing here but they've already announced that they're sending Owen and his classmates home at noon. All of our sports are cancelled too, so Whit is racking her brain for afternoon activities.

Foosball Injury
Apparently clumsiness runs in the family. Owen came home from school with a mouse under his eye yesterday. He was playing foosball during Lunchbunch and went for a "power shot". His hand slipped off the controller and he smacked himself in the eye.
Man Down!
We were walking home from dinner on Wednesday and of course Owen wanted to have a race. Apparently he tripped and wanted me to stop running so I wouldn't get to far ahead. Whit shouted out, "Man down!" and he latched right onto that. He spent the rest of the race diving to the ground and shouting "Man down, man down!'

First Report Card
We were very excited to see Owen's first-ever report card last week. The summary is that he's doing great. It does identify a few areas for improvement including patience and fine motor skills. We talked it through with Owen and he was glad to hear all the positive reinforcement but also very interested in knowing what he needs to improve.
Hockey Day
He's not wearing his skates in this photo, but we did some hockey playing and skating on the pond yesterday. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and Owen had a blast. Some of his campus friends came along too, which made it extra fun.
