Visit to Higgins Armory

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit this weekend. We spent Saturday afternoon at the very impressive Higgins Armory, where these two enjoyed a giant game of chess. Owen did very well, thinking ahead and giving Grandpa a good game.

Yellow Belt Test

Owen did a great job at his test. I think he knows his forms better than I do. Now he's waiting on pins and needles for the results...

Getting ready for the Winter Classic in his new Rangers jersey. (don't worry all you mothers out there, he only took his helmet off for the photo)

We stayed the night in NY and as I was leaving a tip in the morning Owen decided to contribute a dollar from his allowance for the maid. He left a note too.

Owen Potter

Hard to believe that he actually went trick-or-treating with a whole group of friends tonight. How far we've come!

Final Game of the Season

Some good things and some frustrating ones. Owen mostly played well, though I'm not sure he got much better. In some ways he slid backward -- passing is one area. Still, his ball control is good and he can actually control the game at times. Most importantly, he says he had fun and he's psyched for indoor this winter.
