Voting

We had planned to go vote as a family this morning and beat the rush.  But, Owen wanted to have breakfast first so he and Whit went a little later.  She let him pull the lever, so he got to cast his first vote today!

I can vividly remember voting with Mom when I was a kid.  We voted at the High School, and I'm pretty sure we voted at the Elementary School a few times too.

If you voted with me at the high school or elementary school, it must have been the school budget. For state and national elections, I think we have always voted at the Clinton Town Hall (in the same building as the library).

Funny, I only vaguely remember the Clinton Town Hall, but vividly remember the schools. Not sure why that made more of an impression...

They used to have unofficial kid elections at the Chancellor Livingston School. I voted for Ronald Reagan in 1980 at age 9. Maybe that's what Kirk remembers.

What an good recollection you have, Jeff. Perhaps you're correct that this is what Kirk is remembering. I can't believe what you guys do remember.

Yes, I can remember what happened 28 years ago, but I can never remember somebody's name the first time I meet them or I'll spend an hour looking for where I put my keys.
