Thanks everyone for a very successful quarter hunt. Owen just had to put the quarters in his book the moment we got home on Saturday. It seems I missed a state in my original post, so now we're looking for Wisconsin, Hawaii and Nebraska.
Sounds good----it was fun looking for the quarters for him. Dad found Wisconsin today. Should we bring it at Christmas or mail it? We'll look for Nebraska. I think I saw that in Shirley Jones's stash, but she's in The Phillipines for several weeks. We can probably find it elsewhere as well. Brie wrote to her friend in Hawaii about that one.
A friend just called to tell me that she has a Nebraska quarter for me. She has been collecting them for her grandson, too. We'll bring Nebraska, as well as Wisconsin, when we come for Christmas. So, we're down to Hawaii!
Good news! Dad came home from breakfast as the restaurant this morning with GUESS WHAT! A Hawaii quarter! So, we'll bring the remaining three quarters when we come for Christmas.
